Day 1 & 2
Your journey starts in Maun, Botswana where you will catch a road transfer to a classic safari camp that lies on a 365000 hectare private concession between the Nxai Pan National Park and the Moremi Game Reserve.
Here you will spend your first two nights, enjoying game drives and bush dinners around the campfire. Optional bushwalks are available, which bring you much closer to the finer details of nature. The camp has a prestigious view of a popular waterhole, while the guest swimming pool overlooks the same.
Accommodation is in meru-style safari tents located between the Kalahari Acacia Trees. The en-suite bathrooms comply with the sustainable construction of the camp, with heated bucket showers and flush toilets. This camp is a true canvas bush camp, with added luxuries and emphasis on its sublime location.
Day 3 & 4
You will then be transferred to your next destination through the Moremi Game Reserve via a game viewer. Following your scenic game drive and a picnic lunch on the riverfront you will arrive at a boat station where you will travel by boat to your Delta island.
Here you will enjoy morning and evening boat cruises on the Okavango Delta. This camp is a birder’s paradise and an adventurers dream. Hippos rule the waters around the Island, lions are heard across the water and the Pel’s fishing owl is a resident in the trees of the Island.
This completely eco-friendly camp, is a piece of paradise in the water wonderland that is the Okavango Delta.
Day 5 & 6
Catch the boat back to the boat station where you will switch to the game viewer for your transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Savuti in the Chobe National Park. Where the temperamental Savuti Channel once again flows, elephants gather at its edge to quench their thirst.
On the bank of this channel lies your next camp. Unassuming, simple, and essential, the meru-style tented units are complete with wooden deck, and of course, river views.
Enjoy your last 2 nights exploring the Chobe National park on your morning and evening game drives, following routes and circuits through the pristine African Bush.
You will be transported to the Savuti Airstrip, where you will catch your return flight to Maun.
