Day 11:
Take a sunrise cruise down the Hluhluwe River and into Lake St. Lucia. Return to the lodge for breakfast and then take a game drive in an open 4x4 vehicle in the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi National Park.

Day 12:
Visit a Cultural Village. Learn the history of the Zulu people and see demonstrations of traditional skills, dances and music. Continue on to Durban for a tour of the city and surrounding area. Stay in Umhlanga Rocks, a pretty resort town to the north of Durban.

Day 13:
This morning, fly to Port Elizabeth and travel along the "Garden Route" visiting Storms River and Plettenberg Bay en route. Arrive in Knysna for an afternoon at leisure followed by a sundowner cruise.

Day 14:
Enjoy a leisurely day exploring the Garden Route. Also visit the Bartolomeu Dias Museum Complex and History Centre in Mossel Bay. Accommodation this evening will be in the Mossel Bay area, well known for its natural beauty.

Day 15:
Drive to Oudtshoorn for a tour of an ostrich farm after which lunch will be provided. In the afternoon, visit the Cango Wildlife Ranch where you may be able to interact with its cheetahs.

Day 16:
Drive the scenic "Three Passes" route with lunch provided along the way. Cross over one of the most beautiful of all South Africa's mountain passes - The Swartberg Pass. Also tour the magnificent Cango Caves. Return to Oudtshoorn for an evening braai.

Day 17:
Today we travel via Route 62 through the Little Karoo. Pass through the orchard villages of Ladysmith and Barrydale and arrive in the afternoon at the Cape winelands. Overnight will be at a wine estate in the Stellenbosch area.

Day 18:
Tour a winery, sampling some of the great wines for which this area is famous. Drive to Cape Town and ride the cable car to the top of Table Mountain. Tour the city, the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and take a drive to the village of Bloubergstrand. Accommodation for the next three nights is on Cape Town's historic Waterfront. Cape Town is famous for its fine restaurants and tonight we will dine at one of these.

Day 19:
The morning and early afternoon are at leisure. Explore the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. The nearby Two-Oceans Aquarium is well worth a visit. An optional tour of Robben Island is available. Weather permitting, we will cruise offshore on an ocean-going catamaran and have dinner on board.

Day 20:
Drive to the Cape of Good Hope National Park via St. James, Kalk Bay, Fish Hoek and the African Penguin colony at Boulders Beach. Enjoy lunch at Cape Point before returning to Cape Town. For dinner tonight, we will sample food from many different African cultures.

Day 21:
Visit the Castle of Good Hope this morning. After lunch, take a shopping excursion to the Century City Mall or just relax. Return to the hotel to freshen up, finish packing and transfer to Cape Town International Airport for the flight home.
