Drive to Soweto (South Western Township)
Soweto tour starts at the newly reconstructed Barragwanath taxi rank & Barragwanath Hospital, with our local guide Percy, who walks you through shebeens, muti shops etc & then drive to Walter Sisulu Square.
Stop at Regina Mundi Church, which was very important during the apartheid struggle, continue past elephant houses to Winnie Mandela's house and on to Vilakazi Street (most famous street in Soweto - 2 x Noble Peace Prize winners - Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu).

Visit Hector Pieterson Museum, named after the little boy that was shot by police on the 16th June 1976. When you visit the Hector Pieterson Museum in Orlando West, Soweto, you'll see Nzima's legendary photograph showing the unconscious Hector being carried by Makhubo, with Hector's sister - now Antoinette Sithole - running alongside.
VISIT APARTHEID MUSEUM
Drive to Johannesburg city centre, E-Goli, the city of gold. Learn about the discovery of gold and how Johannesburg has grown from a primitive mining town to become the country's financial and commercial heartland.
We visit an old mine stope, drive through the downtown area and experience a panoramic view of E-Goli from the lofty 50 storey Carlton Centre - the tallest ALL concrete building in the world.
Drop off clients at about 17:00
